Attention clients: The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has announced that all available green cards in the EB-1, EB-3 Other Workers, and EB-5 Unreserved categories have been issued for fiscal year 2024. No new green cards in these categories will be issued until the new fiscal year begins on October 1, 2024. Keep in mind, this is just a month away!
Due to the high demand for employment-based visas, the DOS has also warned that other categories, such as EB-2 and EB-4, could become unavailable soon. While this may temporarily limit the issuance of green cards, applicants with current priority dates can still submit their applications following the Visa Bulletin guidelines.
